The Nehalem Basin Partnership is dedicated to efficiently improve and restore watershed health and salmon habitat in order to ensure a sustainable future for native salmon populations across the Nehalem basin.
Our Organization
In 2022, the upper and lower Nehalem watershed councils formed a partnership to collectively Protect, Preserve, And Enhance our watershed through Leadership, Cooperation and Education. Our partnership works collaboratively to secure an abundance of research, analysis, design, planning, outreach and project implementation resources. Our actions are based from the Nehalem Strategic Action Plan and synchronized with measurable ecological outcomes as observed through a comprehensive monitoring plan.
